Kevin Caldwell
Kevin is the President and owner of Caldwell Tree Care. He is an ISA certified arborist having practiced since 1992. Kevin’s attention to customer service is exemplary. He continually works to improve the professionalism and status of the green industry through the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA), the Georgia Turf Grass Association (GTGA), and recently named Vice-Chairman of the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Kevin often represents the green industry on Capitol Hill as well as with local governments. He brings strong ethical and leadership skills to every project Caldwell recommends and oversees. Kevin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia.

Kristen Caldwell, CFO

Kristen Caldwell
Kristen is our Chief Financial Officer, wife to Kevin, and mother of their three children. She supervises all financial operations including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Kristen’s meticulous attention to detail contributes greatly to Caldwell’s positive reputation among our vendors, subcontractors, clients, and peers. Kristen spent many years training and working as a Registered Nurse in both emergency and surgical environments.
Terry Ferdarko, Operations Manager

As Operations Manager Terry sees that the daily routine is maintained in an organized and efficient manner. Terry makes certain that Caldwell’s specialized fleet of tree-service trucks and equipment is in pristine condition and that our crews are well trained. He has been climbing trees since 1988, and earned the Merit Safety Award from the National Arborist Association as well as other climbing awards over the years.
Ty Phillips, Assistant Operations Manager
Ty Phillips
Ty began his career with Caldwell Tree Care in June 2006, after graduating in May 2006, from Unity College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Sustainable Landscape Horticulture. Ty was first exposed to the tree industry when he participated in an internship with Caldwell during the summer of 2005 as part of a graduation requirement. Exhibiting early signs of excellent leadership skills, Ty’s position at Caldwell is Assistant Operations Manager. Since becoming part of the Caldwell team, Ty has obtained several certifications including Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP), and ISA Certified Arborist License. Always looking to advance his knowledge base, Ty is working toward a Certified Pesticide Appplicator License.

Jim has a very strong reputation in the Atlanta tree care industry having supported many premier corporate, not-for-profit, and estate properties across the city. He joined Caldwell Tree Care as a senior Arborist in 2010.
